Prosljeđujemo Vam poziv koji smo primili od festivala kratkog filma Leiden Shorts iz Holandije, a koji bi mogao biti zanimljiv. Festival priprema svoje 18. izdanje (kasno proljeće 2026) i aktivno traži filmove novih autora, posebno za takmičarsku sekciju "Brand New Eyes Competition", posvećenu debitantskim ostvarenjima studenata i mladih reditelja.

We are in preparation of the 18th edition of Leiden Shorts, the short film festival based in Leiden, the Netherlands, taking place in late Spring 2026.

As we prepare for our upcoming edition, we are seeking works by new voices; especially, but of course not exclusively, for our Brand New Eyes Competition. The section seeks to showcase fresh perspectives, celebrating debut films - from student filmmakers around the world to first-time directors working outside of academic contexts.

With this in mind, we are reaching out to you as a film school to invite your students to submit their films to the festival. To help them in doing so, we would like to offer them a 50% discount to the entry fee. In order to generate the codes, we would like to ask you how many films your school would like to submit?

To enter the films, you can use the partial fee waiver when submitting the film through our online entry form, please find the link here. Our entry regulations are available on our website on the same link. Please fill in the form at your earliest convenience, but no later than January 16th
